To say no, again means nothing. One has to understand spirits nature, the nature of shape shifting. People give spirits form, and these spirits take that form. There are spirits that need form, and will come in the form that is not frightening to the person. Unless it is an evil spirit, it will chose a very scary form.
Spirits of like can come in the form of human being with wings, if that is the form one wants to see good spirit. They can also be in the form of fairies, any animal, or made up being. They will not take one scary forms.
Dark spirits can come in scary from, even human form, beast, even false angel. Telling which is which is not that simple. For the sensory can easy be fooled. So one would not know if one is seeing a human spirit or angel, orsomething wicked.
