Yes and no. Colors are illusions, therefore one does not the true state and nature of a being by the color of the aura. One of the main colors seekers do read, is that of the auric color, which tells how spiritual one is in nature. If there is any darken colors, there is a change of negativity, dark spirit possession. If it is pale, it may tell one is ill?
Unlike those who just accept what they read out of books, true seekers seek the real by investigating, observing, and meditating on this. One will ask for feedback to the one who is part of this investigation/study, and if it is not what others claim, it is noted. But one person isn't enough, one needs at read 10 people to confirm.
Many psychics only read the energy of the person, not the colors. Since colors can give false knolwedge, the energy field can give more real. This doesn't mean it is complete, some will read into the eyes for more real.
